Senior Business Analyst (Artificial Intelligence)

It's an exciting time to be a member of the Fisher Investments Technology Department. We're investing in the future of our firm's technology and are building our team to achieve global growth. We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support our Innovation and Practices team.

The Opportunity:

The Senior Business Analyst analyzes the needs of their clients and partners to identify improvement opportunities, while recommending solutions and programs that help the organization to achieve its strategic goals. You will use state-of-the-art technology, especially AI, to create value. You will be the liaison between the business side of the enterprise and service providers to the enterprise, eliciting, analyzing, communicating and validating requirements in the context of helping our organization achieve its goals through internal changes to policies, processes, and information systems. You will organize, plan and execute tasks with a focus on complex tasks with a high degree of strategic importance to our company. You will report to the Vice President of Innovation and Practices.

The Day-to-Day:

Identify and analyze opportunities to create value through technology solutions including AI. Collaborate with business experts, senior managers, project managers, and project sponsors to determine project scope, vision and value propositionPlay a critical role in responsibly promoting new technologies for our company. Aim to overcome roadblocks and closely partner with other service providers such as technology, user experience, and Enterprise Risk Management to achieve project goals efficientlyConduct research and analysis to stay current on technology and business trends especially in AI. Provide expert guidance and advise on opportunities of AI to envision future state practices and operations and define requirements accordinglyCreate assumptions and experiment to validate value, risks and controls of new solutions. Translate insights into functional requirements and design specifications and partner with technology teams to create solutionsResponsibly leverage citizen development capabilities of our solution stackResponsibly promote the use of AI and other new technologies, communicate changes, enhancements, and solutions to all partners effectively. Measure value and track against the value propositionContribute to enterprise architecture development with a focus on AI capabilities.Help develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-usersSupport quality assurance in creating test plans and test cases to ensure functionality and performance requirementsCommunicate with senior management regarding project status, issues, and risks

Your Qualifications:

5+ years of experience working as a Business Analysis2+ years of experience delivering value using AI technologiesExperience in FinTech and an understanding of technology trends in the finance industryComprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure AI services and AgentforceSuperior ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusionsExcellent skills in word processing, spreadsheet, email, and database softwareBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required

Compensation:

$120,000 - $155,000 base salary per year in the state of WA. New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experienceEligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
