Overview The Data Developer is responsible for analysis at the highest level of complexity, data and reporting expertise. Assesses a wide scope of factors affecting business profitability, growth, and efficiency, and aids strategic initiatives to address identified issues. Evaluates current practices, collects information and industry trends, and creates specifications to support business initiatives. Develops and implements modernized interactive dashboard reports and analytical tools. Participates in special analytical projects and advanced technical reporting. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Responsibilities Operational Support - Provides expert data support for business operations by responding to inquiries, identifying issues, and working to continuously improve business analysis tools through data. Handles escalated matters that arise during daily operations, providing guidance to business leaders as well as to report developers. Serves as an analytics resource to wider organization or business units. Supports Reporting Delivery through intelligence & insights of data and data transformation by: Leading detailed business requirements gathering. Engaging in data identification, data analysis, and data profiling. Making iterative enhancements to dashboards & solutions based on stakeholder feedback. Supporting the productionalization & owning the maintenance of portfolio of dashboards. Monitoring reporting for potential data anomalies or issues with logic execution. Providing daily support for end-users. Provides training and education to end-users and stakeholders data and logic used in Business Intelligence tools and processes. Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Performs data analysis on an advanced level, effectively communicating and directing analysis output Qualifications Required: Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Analytics, or modeling, or reporting OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Analytics, or modeling, or reporting Analytical, Organizational, Computer, Communication Skills SQL Coding, Alteryx, Database management, Report Intelligence Tools (Tableau and/or Power BI) experience First Citizens benefits programs are designed to meet our associates where they are in life.
