Acumatica is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Field Services team. Join us to build the best-in-class business product using Acumatica xRP technology and grow your skills in a highly professional environment.
This role is available in Montreal, Canada area.
Responsibilities:
Analyzing business scenarios and product requirements, communicating with product managers, partners and customers
Evaluating information from multiple sources, analyzing, testing, and documenting functionality when it's necessary for design work.
Writing functional design specifications and technical requirements, analyzing backward compatibility of product changes, negotiating specifications with all stakeholders.
Decomposing changes in the product and setting tasks for developers, coordinating the implementation details and possible changes to the original requirements
Interacting with automated testing engineers, technical writers and support engineers within the project under development
Performing acceptance testing, report bugs.
Troubleshooting customers' issues and propose solutions.
Demonstrating features and enhancements being developed to the technical and less technical audience, manage feedback.
Cooperating with product managers to help refine the product backlog.
QualificationsRequirements:
Higher technical education in computer systems, systems and networks; information systems and technologies, system analysis and management, computational mathematics and informatics.
Experience in system analysis, software design and development of functional specifications - for 5+ years.
Experience in the following domains will be considered as a plus: Service Management, Accounting, Inventory Management
Understanding of software design principles, software engineering processes, software product lifecycle
User empathy, ability to model user behavior and see flaws in the running application.
System thinking and ability to manage complexity at different levels.
Ability to structure large amounts of information, decompose objects and processes, synthesize solutions, perform impact analysis of the changes.
Attention to details and critical thinking.
Strong technical writing and technical communication skills.
