The Business Analyst assists in obtaining, reconciling, analyzing, and reporting on client data, and providing data populations adhering to technical specifications to the Service Delivery teams within a prescribed time frame.

Clients are not limited to external but proactive work status update US / India liaisonResponds to client inquiries and requests from tax authoritiesAssists in the acquisition, extraction, and transfer of client dataTravels to client sites to assist in data extraction tool installation and testing, assist in performing client data extractions and performs configuration of Ryan’s invoice image extraction tool and testing, as required by projects.

Value:

Follows all applicable security policies with regard to client’s data and documentation.Assists in reconciling and analyzing of client data and performs reconciliation of client data using Microsoft® Access, Microsoft® SQL Server, and other tools.Assists in the preparation of the final documentation of the data project.Assists with the installation of custom data extraction tools.Develops limited custom programming for Ryan’s invoice image extraction tool.Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Any bachelor’s degree, Information Systems, or Computer Science will be preferred.

Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet. The Consultant should have beginner knowledge of a database technology platform such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, etc. Business system applications experience such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, etc. and experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and/or Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) is desired.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

Standard indoor working environment.Occasional long periods of sitting while working at computer.Position requires regular interaction with employees and clients both in person and via e-mail and telephone.Independent travel requirement: less than 25%.Standard fulltime workweek requirement.
