A Brief Overview: The Senior Business Analyst designs, develops, and automates accurate reports and dashboards for decision making, strategy setting and business performance monitoring at Money Express, a subsidiary of FirstBank Puerto Rico. M onitor s financial budgets, identifies opportunities, and implement s initiatives to optimize income and expenses. S upport s management in business reviews, performance monitoring, and prepare s presentations on analyses, results, and strategies. What you’ll do + · Design and implement advanced methods for gathering, reviewing, and analyzing data requirements. Create and automate reports and dashboards for proactive decision making, strategy setting, process improvement, evaluation of business performance and monitoring of results. Define data needs in collaboration with management and translate them into value-added and improved reports and analysis. + · Monitor the financial budget, identify opportunities and implement initiatives to optimize income and expense lines. + · Perform in-depth analysis of business performance and support management in the business reviews and monitoring of the branch network. + · Prepare presentations and documents to summarize business analyses, results, strategies, among others. Present and explain findings to management teams. + · Identify and implement initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiencies and support management in the evaluation of projects and initiatives payback (ROI). + · Monitor alternate channels results, identify opportunities to improve their performance and coordinate changes with relevant support units. + · Assist management in developing and recording the budget for origination volumes and income and expense lines. + · Support the branch network in the investigation and resolution of operational related issues in collaboration with centralized support units. Other Responsibilities + · Serve as liaison on key business and technology projects. + · Run special projects requested by management. + · Analyze product pricing and business profitability to identify and recommend changes and actions for improvement. + · Support management with the review and improvement of incentive programs. + · Analyze and prepare data used on regulatory reports. + · Support other business and operating units with respect to data, systems and operations. What You’ll Need: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration. Two or more years of financial and Business analysis experience in the financial services industry. Consumer Loan Business experience preferred.
