The Didipio mine is located on Luzon Island in the Philippines and is the Company’s only asset that produces both gold and copper. Didipio was built by OceanaGold in 2013 and operates fully as underground mine, with over 800 employees that support the mine.
The Senior Business Analyst (Supply Chain) will play a pivotal role in optimizing supply chain processes by gathering, analysing, and reporting on data to identify areas for improvement. This position is responsible for managing supplier relationships, planning procurement strategies, and leveraging strong analytical and problem-solving skills to enhance the overall efficiency of the supply chain. As a key member of the team, you will provide valuable insights that drive decision-making and continuous process improvements, ensuring the supply chain operates effectively and efficiently.
This role is based at the Didipio mine site, with a 14/7 roster, offering a structured and balanced work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct oversight and task assignment management for the supervisor logistics, supply chain and warehouse respectively.Partner with Maintenance planners and key personnel to identify opportunities for improvement and improve customer service.Gather and analyse supply chain data to identify opportunities for improvement.Build reports and enhance existing reports to monitor supply chain performance, trends, and compliance.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve supply chain processes.Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize supply chain operations.Apply strong analytic and problem-solving skills to address challenges and drive improvements.Utilize Pronto or similar systems for data analysis, reporting, and process management.Provide support for continuous process improvement initiatives.Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, and procurement policies.QualificationsQualifications in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field.5+ years of experience in supply chain or procurement analysis, ideally in the mining or industrial sectors.Experience with Pronto or similar systems is essential.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.Excellent planning and organizational skills to manage competing priorities.Ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships and work collaboratively with remote teams.High level of self-motivation, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present findings and influence decisions.Commercially astute with a good understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.Additional InformationWHAT'S ON OFFER:
