Senior Business Analyst -Tableau Report Developer
Overview The Sr Business Analyst – Tableau Report Developer is responsible for analysis at the highest level of complexity, data and reporting expertise. Assesses a wide scope of factors affecting business profitability, growth, and efficiency, and aids strategic initiatives to address identified issues. Evaluates current practices, collects information and industry trends, and creates specifications to support business initiatives. Develops and implements modernized interactive dashboard reports and analytical tools. Participates in special analytical projects and advanced technical reporting. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Responsibilities Reporting - Delivers intelligence & insights to end-users and key stakeholders through execution of the data visualization lifecycle, which includes but is not limited to: Leading detailed business requirements gathering. Developing dashboards in accordance with approved requirements. Making iterative enhancements to dashboards & solutions based on stakeholder feedback. Productionalize & own the maintenance of portfolio of dashboards. Monitoring reporting for potential data anomalies or issues with logic execution. Providing daily support for end-users. Operational Support - Provides expert support for business operations by responding to inquiries, identifying issues, and working to continuously improve business analysis tools. Handles escalated matters that arise during daily operations, providing guidance to business leaders Develops and implements modifications and enhancements. Serves as an analytics resource to wider organization and business units. Drives the completion of annual, quarterly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting deliverables based on the requirements gathered by business leadership. Follows up on inconsistencies or issues, provides recommendations for resolution, and ensures timely adherence. Provides training and education to end-users and stakeholders on Business Intelligence tools and processes. Evangelizes the reporting tools to remove barriers to entry, promote self-service, and enable data-driven decision making. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Analytics, or modeling, or reporting OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Analytics, or modeling, or reporting Analytical, organizational, computer, communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Advanced Tableau Report Intelligence Preferred: JIRA Power BI Report Intelligence Tool First Citizens benefits programs are designed to meet our associates where they are in life.
