About the role:
Barry Callebaut Digital (BC Digital) is on a mission to lead the digital revolution in the chocolate industry, and we're looking for a Senior Business Analyst Tax to lay the foundation of operational excellence in our finance processes. You will have the unique opportunity to shape our digital future by gathering and analyzing business requirements, translating them into functional and technological specifications and designs. This includes the design and implementation of projects with a focus on all Tax related topics. You will closely collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify and address recurring issues while exploring opportunities to enhance efficiency, standardization, and process improvements. In addition, you will provide configuration inputs, analyze configuration options / settings, and support the implementation. Consequently, the role is responsible for all Tax solution from an IM perspective. In this position, you will play a key role in turning our aspirations of a digital transformation into reality and lifting Barry Callebaut to the next level.
Key responsibilities:
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions (e.g. SAP FI, Avalara) Provide operational support and troubleshoot tax-related inquiries Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance processes and identify system improvements Design business process documentation, workflows, and test plans, including user acceptance testing Support the configuration and deployment of system solutions Develop reports and dashboards to monitor performance of tax-related processes Supervise Junior Business Analysts and work with global teams Stay updated on best practices in tax reporting systems and finance processes Travel up to 25% to locations like Brussels, Zurich, and PolandAbout you:
Strong finance background, ideally in manufacturing or consumer goods Minimum 4 years of experience in SAP FI with a focus on tax Knowledge of finance technologies (ERP, cashflow management systems) Experience with Avalara is a plus Excellent communication and collaboration skills Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail Experience in business transformation projects is an advantage Willingness to travel (up to 25%)
