THE ROLE: Senior Business Development Manager, Procurement
Job Summary:
We are looking for an energetic Senior Business Development Manager to help drive our End User IT Procurement sales and grow the business. As a Senior Business Development Manager at Presidio, you’ll oversee targeted sales activity within new & existing customer base in the EMEA region, primarily focused on the European market. This is a technology end user product procurement sales role, where successful individuals meet sales forecasts and revenue targets, prospect and develop accounts and become trusted partners to our customers and strategic partners.
Job Responsibilities:
You will attract new clients and build solid relationships with them Execute sales strategy by identifying customer needs and selling the appropriate hardware and company services Develop & execute marketing and business plans to drive revenue and profits Develop business through multiple marketing and sales techniques including but not limited to; working with Account Directors to sell End User Devices into existing Presidio customers, conducting in person meetings, cold calling, presenting and partnering with vendors or manufactures. Qualify leads from marketing campaigns and sales opportunities. Build and present enterprise proposals and engage with subject matter experts to develop business opportunities throughout the sales cycle. Perform extensive proposal writing and prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential new customers Build relationships with Presidio strategic customers & partners, presenting and joining QBRs and RFPS Maintain a targeted understanding of customers’ business showing the ability to establish customer needs, buying cycles, and creating strong relationships to effectively drive sales and repeat business. The Business Development Manager will report into the International Business Development Director & work closely with them, along with the core sales teams & Business Development team in Europe, as well as the Presidio teams in the US & APAC, to expand Presidio’s Global IT Procurement Business. Meet or exceed annual sales top line revenue and margin goals as defined by management. Presents a Quarterly Business Outlook (QBO) to International Business Development Director, each quarter which will focus on past performance and expectations of current quarter, analysis of pipeline, key wins. Adhere to sales processes including but not limited to pipeline development and accurate forecasting via internal tools. Team focused and able to collaborate with local, regional, and corporate teams in a large cross-functional organization. The successful applicant will be resourceful, organized and motivated to increase sales, enhance the company's reputation, and promote Presidio’s IT Procurement Offering.Education and Experience: (List out)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 5+ years business development sales experience End user hardware IT products sales experience strongly desired Strong business sense and ICT industry expertise Proven history in customer service satisfaction and sales achievements Good communicator with the ability to drive solutions in line with industry and local market trends. Proficient in selling solutions to large customers with a deep understanding of buying cycles Customer Presentation skills: presentation collation and material with the confidence and ability to deliver at all levels of management. Business Relationships: confident and able to establish strong relationships with key vendors and partners to support solution selling. Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close*****
