Job Role – Sr. Business Development Manager

Industry Vertical – F&B / Muni /Pharma & likewise. Candidate will be responsible to lead the business in 1 -2 verticals.

Territory – Entire Indonesia except Sumatra

Team Size – 3 - 5 BDMs

Job Description including but not limited to:

What You'll Be Doing (Job Responsibilities)

Leading a high performing team of BDMs with a responsibility to deliver monthly targets on booking, quarterly/yearly targets on funnel and grow the water analytics business in Java exponentially.

Provide Leadership to BDM team to deliver results on specific targets/vertical.

Provide leadership through effective communication of vision, active coaching & development while comparing order booking results to goals and taking appropriate action to correct when necessary.

Ensuring sales funnel review cadence across the team & leveraging Salesforce.com (SFDC) as a growth tool.

Practice & evangelize Veralto Enterprise System (VES) tools like Growth War Room (GWR), Funnel Management, Daily Management, Visual Management, Policy Deployment, Problem Solving Process, KPIs through the team.

Sizing up the talent & providing growth direction and mentoring to grow & develop within the organization.

Drive sales growth and increase market share in assigned area by growing the base of existing and potential customer across various industrial segments like F&B, Muni, Pharma, etc

Manage customer relationship from top to bottom and ensure customer satisfaction through effective product and service offerings.

Develops, implements, and sustains comprehensive account plans to achieve monthly and annual sales targets directly and through team.

Conceptualize and execute pricing agreements with key accounts.

Prepares and maintains all sales documentation (Sales Funnel, Client Profile, etc.) and ensures updated maintenance of the CRM system

Monitor and analyse competition activities in the sales territory Coordinate with management to provide detailed forecasts and action plans for the growth of the business.

Ownership of Sales initiatives: Support financial objectives set forth by senior management through collaboration with multiple teams in the Hach organization by representing the best interest of Sales, owning awareness of actual vs. budgeted performance, implementing corrective measures as appropriate, and reporting accomplishment and variance analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis.

What We Are Looking For (Skills & Qualifications)

Engineering Graduate / Post Graduate (preferably Instrumentation or chemistry)

Having sales experience in the field of Hach / Equivalent Analysers like Silica, Sodium, Hydrazine, Phosphate, Iron, Manganese, COD, TOC, TSS, Turbidity, Dissolved Oxygen, Portable Lab, Spectrophotometers, etc.

Minimum 5 - 12 years of direct sales & business development experience in Analyzer Field along with minimum 5 years of experience as Team Leader.

Familarity with key stake holders at customer locations in Java Region, especially in Food & Beverage, Municipal, Palm Oil & related industries.

Understanding and experience in liquid analytical instrument field is a must.

Excellent presentation skills and competence in MS office.

Travelling 30 – 50% of the time in the assigned territory
