Senior Business Development Manager - Enterprise

Job Summary

As a core member of the sales team, you will be responsible for the go to market strategy and sales for our cloud tax compliance solution, CCH Integrator, into the corporate space in Australia.  A component of this role is to increase utilization of our software within existing service lines of existing corporate clients, as well as new relationships.  The role requires the candidate to drive major account/sales plans and strategies both short and long-term.   

You will also be responsible for coordinating the delivering of high-quality implementation services and being the conduit between the client and our internal product & consulting teams. Implementation services include gathering and documenting sales and use (ie: indirect tax) and business requirements from customers then, working with Presales, as well as Consulting, in managing the customer engagement throughout the implementation process.  Given the global nature of our business, cross-functional and also customer stakeholder management is a key competency.

We offer flexible working. This position can be based in our Sydney (Macquarie Park) or Melbourne (Bourke Street) office.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, execute and manage regionally based territory plans to maximise sales opportunities with multinational corporates.Develop and present detailed account specific plans for designated market.Participate in developing and executing the strategy and go to market with support from Senior ManagementCreate and deliver world’s best practice value-based outcomes for our clients.Manage senior client executive relationships.Drive increased adoption and use of our products with new and existing customers via upsell of modules and new implementations into their wider business groups.Consistently deliver new revenue and meet established revenue targets.Accurate and timely use of sales systems and processes such as SFDC

About you

The incumbent will be customer focused and possess high level communication and negotiation skills, strong sales and client relationship experience. Exceptional professional behavior and highly developed business acumen will be the foundation of this role, as will the ability to gain buy in and support from key internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate possesses:

5+ years' experience within tax or business developmentAn appetite to work within an evolving software and information services business as part of a huge multinational organisation with many development opportunities.Data and analytics strategy expertise highly desiredDeep domain expertise with tax technology preferableSome delivery experience preferableContacts and relationships within the corporate tax spaceA passion for tax technology and performance management technology, and an understanding of the value they deliver to customersInternational tax exposure also desirable
