Senior Business Development Sales Support, 12-Month FTC

What is the opportunity?

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in London on a 12-month fixed term contract, as an experienced Senior Business Development Sales Support. The role will provide proactive relationship management and assistance to Business Development Managers, to enhance our growth within the Intermediary market.

What will you do?

To proactively make calls to new and existing Advisers, send emails and manage outbound campaigns and appropriate inbound enquiries from Advisers.

Ensure all key Adviser data and activity is captured and updated on our internal systems.

Act as a liaison between Business Development Managers, Advisers, and Investment Managers.

Attend Adviser meetings when required in virtual and face to face where appropriate. To schedule Adviser meetings with BDMs ensuring all required documentation is prepared in advance, together with any logistical planning.

Undertake regular strategy meetings with BDMs, to plan, discuss and organise activities.

Internal liaison with Compliance to ensure that presentations are completed and available when required.

Co-ordination of the distribution of regular communications to Advisers.

External and internal event planning and organisation with attendance when required - Ad-hoc project work driven by business requirements.

Follow-up of new business calls and literature requests to generate leads for the Sales Team and help better understand our client base.

Identify new sales opportunities and pass these through to the Sales team.

Support all new IFA relationships and assist with account opening and ongoing servicing.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

Professional Industry Qualifications or working towards through either the CII/CISI

Experience of working within a sales team, with good working knowledge of the Adviser market.

Experience using Financial Clarity and FE Analytics (or equivalent)

Good knowledge of current key regulatory and financial issues

General knowledge of compliance and risk.

Nice-to-have

Good knowledge of RBC BD investment proposition.
