About the opportunity
Join us in an exciting leadership role as a Senior Network Partners Modernisation Manager, within the Network Operations division. This role offers an incredible opportunity to contribute to the ongoing transformation of Australia Post's delivery model and lead critical projects in a dynamic, evolving environment. You’ll be part of a team that is shaping the future of our delivery network and our contractor workforce to better serve our customers and communities, while focusing on operational efficiency, cost reductions, and strategic goals.
You will report to the Head of Network Partners Modernisation and work closely with wide range of stakeholders across the business. As a Senior Manager, your leadership will be key in ensuring the smooth implementation of modernisation strategies that drive positive change and enhance our delivery services.
What you’ll deliver with us
As a Senior Network Partners Modernisation Manager, you will:
• Lead the implementation and rollout of new delivery models within our contractor workforce to drive efficiency and service improvements.
• Work alongside senior stakeholders to influence priorities, manage key projects, and ensure alignment across multiple teams to meet organisational milestones.
• Drive the execution of a prioritisation framework that focuses on safety, quality, service improvements, and cost reductions, while maintaining compliance with Australia Post's governance standards.
• Facilitate a robust governance programme, ensuring milestones are met and all relevant data is collected, analysed, and communicated effectively.
You’ll also
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to enhance collaboration and ensure smooth delivery.
• Guide the contractor workforce through the transformation process, ensuring upskilling and proper onboarding to support new delivery models.
• Provide strategic insights and options for optimising project outcomes, ensuring the successful realisation of benefits.
About you

Your ability to collaborate and manage complex projects across multiple teams will be essential for success in this role. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, where strategic thinking, problem-solving, and relationship-building are key.
You’ll also need:
• Extensive experience in senior project management roles, ideally within operations, procurement, supply chain or logistics environments.
• Proven experience leading organisational change and driving strategic initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and optimise delivery services.
• Strong analytical skills to review and interpret complex data, helping guide decision-making across various stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capability to influence outcomes across multi-tiered organisational landscapes.
