The Bank is continually developing and rolling out new capabilities and features to empower our customers and enable the Bank’s strategic plan. This role would support the Enterprise Capabilities team who are the functional subject matter experts (SMEs) embedded into enterprise projects ranging from minor changes to large multiyear initiatives across the digital, payments, and automation space. Reporting directly to the Payment Operations Director, you will be responsible for analyzing, defining, and driving critical processes for the group to elevate the way a project is executed and the associated collateral that is produced. This position requires an entrepreneur mentality and strong passion for process excellence through continued improvement to establish a repeatable and scalable framework for the Enterprise Capabilities’ teams to follow.Establish the end-to-end project execution framework across the EC group that accommodates the unique focus of each group while still aligning how teams operate to a common standard. Ensure this standard aligns with the Bank’s overall change management and governance processes.Define and build the groups documentation knowledge repository through standard templates and definition of required content for each project. Populate this knowledge repository over time and train the group on how to do the same following the defined end to end process.Design and document workflows for various project initiatives and incorporate them into the established documentation repository. Create and manage the process around updates to this documentation over time to ensure it is accurate.Create a view on how processes can be improved in the short, medium and long term and lead the group through that evolution.Deeply understand complex processing environments with a focus on customer experience and use cases and be able to communicate that information in a clear and concise manner to various stakeholders.Educate and train the group on change management methodologies like Six Sigma, Agile, or Business Process Reengineering (BPR) so that the EC group can incorporate these disciplines into daily project execution.Establish reporting standards for the EC group to create a consistent way that the teams report out project progress and effort to the organization.Manage change communication and collateral across all projects as part of the project delivery process to inform key stakeholders of changes happening in the environment. Train the group to do the same as part of the standard project execution process.Help document and track critical project KPIs/OKRs to ensure that we are always focused on and delivering stakeholder value.Influence and align stakeholders to new processes as with continuously improve the way we deliver projects to the Bank.Manage various roadmap documents that articulate the pipeline of work to senior leadership.Understand the general digital, payment, and automation environments to better support the leaders of those disciplines.What you'll need:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience5+ years of direct, related experience in change management and project deliveryExpertise in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).Knowledge of change management frameworks (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter's 8-Step Process).Expertise in process modeling and workflow tools (e.g., Visio, Lucid chart).Strong organizational and technical skills to develop and sustain a knowledge management framework.Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Customer-centric approach to designing and implementing processes.Detail-oriented with the ability to create structured documentation and organize knowledge effectively.Intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.Intermediate knowledge in banking or financial services operations domain, experience writing business requirements working with subject matter expertise. Solid knowledge of project management framework methodology. Experience in leading business process improvement initiatives including documenting the objectives and business stakeholders, identifying resources, managing a timeline/project task list and testing/implementation effort. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.Knowledge of payment types (ACH, Wires, SWIFT, RTP, Digital Assets), file transfer protocol (FTP/SFTP), Client channel experiences (Online banking, API, File), and Process automation (RPA, Bots) are a plus.Knowledge of core banking/deposit systems a plus and/or vendor experience with FIS IBS Core, Actimize Fraud and Sanctions, Fiserv EPP, other wire system experience, Finastra Total Messaging are a plus.Professional certification in change management processes:Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification.PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.Certifications in BPMBenefits you’ll love:
