PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The Digital Supply Chain Practice of SAP Australia & New Zealand is looking for a Principal Consultant SCM (MP&S, DM, IBP) with in-depth end-to-end knowledge and related SAP solutions like SAP Integrated Business Planning and Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling to join our diverse team of highly performing professionals. You will need to be able to work individually and as part of a team to define the best use of the overall applications and processes specific to the SAP IBP and PPDS solution for the customer. In addition, with your vast experience across industries you will support presales activities, develop and advise on end-to-end solution design, implement and configure the system, all the way through to go live as well as post go live support.

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As a Senior Business Process Consultant for SC Planning and Execution, you possess a deep understanding of SAP IBP, SAP PPDS, and the core capabilities across production/manufacturing functional areas, it’s interoperability with S/4 HANA and other and components. A high-level understanding of related interfaces and technology platforms will be key to your role. 

The senior business process consultant facilitates the implementation and support of the SAP IBP and SAP PPDS solutions with the aim to enhance the client's business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction. In addition, the consultant will partner with the client and possible with 3rd parties to analyse and define business requirements, technology, processes, and objectives to scope project deliverables for the same. The consultant will implement, customise, and test solutions on client’s system and drive development for client-specific enhancements to meet business requirements as needed, keeping SAP’s Clean Core strategy in mind. You also will work alongside the account teams in the software evaluation process, to develop SAP-centric solutions, prepare implementation plans and define outcomes that lead to overall customer success.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies

Proven professional experience working as a senior SAP IBP and SAP PPDS consultant. Deep, proven experience (6+ years) working as a consultant across the SAP IBP solutions, ideally covering a broad range of modules like DP, S&OP, Supply Planning, PPDS, etc.. Shows a proven deliver experience in projects that have included associated processes like,  Demand Management  Inventory Management  Capacity Management  Strategic Sourcing  Tactical Planning Plan execution in SAP PPDS All relevant master data and organisation structure Experience in SAP end-to-end implementation projects (at least 5+ full implementation life cycles) with overall functional delivery responsibility. Strong experience in end-to-end Business Process Solution Design within SAP IBP and SAP PPDS domain and execution systems such as S/4HANA Knowledge of industry trends in Supply Chain Management process and best practices (where applicable) Associate SAP Certification in the Core area and a Professional certification will be an advantage. APICS or Oliver Wight certification a bonus. ABAP development and CPDIS skills a plus. PMI, Six Sigma Green belt, or equivalent certification is a plus. Experience in end-to-end Business Process Solution Design. Ability to represent SAP at customers while delivering on high volume and high-risk projects. Excellent communication skills with functional and business focus. Passionate about technology, innovation, and how digital platforms can solve business challenges.
