\nAbout the Role
\nThe Product Innovation Manager - Prototyping, Testing and Continuous Improvement will lead efforts in developing and refining products and solutions within health & welfare benefits, defined benefit retirement plans, Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) solutions, and Human Resource Outsourcing (HRO)/Payroll solutions space. This role is crucial in driving product innovation through effective prototyping, usability testing, and continuous product improvement, ensuring that our offerings lead our competition and meet evolving customer needs and industry standards.
\nJob Responsibilities:
\n- Coordinate with Product Managers and Lead the development and execution of product innovation strategies, particularly in the areas of defined benefit retirement solutions, Pension Risk Transfer, and HR Outsourcing.
\n- Coordinate and oversee the creation of prototypes, including A/B testing and usability studies, to evaluate product enhancements based on user feedback and market trends.
\n- Drive continuous improvement of existing products through systematic analysis of user trends, feedback, and performance metrics.
\n- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, sales, and operations to ensure alignment of product strategies with business goals.
\n- Interface with customers and stakeholders, ensuring that the product vision and improvements align with market demands and customer expectations.
\n- Provide leadership and mentoring to the product management team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
\n- Monitor and analyze user feedback, product performance data, and industry trends to inform continuous product enhancements.
\n- Communicate product testing strategy, progress, and outcomes to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
\n- Lead cross-functional teams in the successful execution of product development initiatives.
\n- Help ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards in product development activities.
\nRequirements:
\n- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
\n- 7+ years of experience in product management, product development, or a related field, with a focus on retirement solutions or HR outsourcing.
\n- Proven track record in leading product innovation and development, particularly in a prototyping and continuous improvement capacity.
\n- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate market and user data into actionable product strategies.
\n- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
\n- Experience with A/B testing, usability testing, and other forms of user research to foster market leading product innovation.
\nPreferred qualifications:
\n- Experience working in benefits administration, retirement plan administration, or HR outsourcing.
\n- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in leading Agile product development teams.
\n- Experience working with executive leadership and managing large-scale product initiatives.
\n- Strong financial acumen with experience in managing product budgets and P&L.
\n- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to benefits administration, retirement plans, Pension Risk Transfer, and HR Outsourcing.
