Senior Business Systems Analyst - SDLC Enablement (Remote)
Overview This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) within the organization. This senior position will mentor and guide junior team members fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. This position will work closely with SDLC governance, development, project managers, business partners, and Quality Assurance (QA) professionals to ensure compliance with SDLC methodologies (e.g Agile, Waterfall and hybrid approaches). This position will support teams in adopting SDLC tools such as JIRA, X-Ray, TestRay/synapseRT, and Azure DevOps. Will provide training and enablement to application teams on SDLC standards and procedures as well as SDLC tools. The ideal candidate will possess a calm demeanor and the ability to approach challenges with a positive and solution-oriented mindset. Responsibilities Mentor junior team members and lead large-scale initiatives across the organization Engaging and influencing with senior leaders on key decisions Establishes a strong partnership with the SDLC Governance team to ensure alignment across the organization Emphasize and delegate top priority tasks across the SDLC Enablement team Review and approve compliance training, self-service content and best practices identified by the SDLC Enablement team Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to application teams. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement Communicate changes effectively to stakeholders regarding SDLC standards and procedures SDLC Support - Provides expert technical support for SDLC by responding to escalated inquiries, ensuring processes run smoothly, and working to continuously improve the end-user experience. Implements recommended modifications and enhancements. Serves as an analytics resource to wider organization or business units, offering guidance on SDLC standards and procedures Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operational Support OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operational Support Preferred skills: Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall. Experience with SDLC tools (JIRA, X-Ray, TestRay/synapseRT, and Azure DevOps). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of the organization. Proven ability to delivery engaging and persuasive presentations. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Proficient in Powerpoint and SharePoint. Proven ability to drive process improvements and enablement initiatives across teams. Familiar with Articulate 360 a plus. This job posting is expected to remain active for 30 days from the initial posting date listed above. If hired in North Carolina, the base pay for this position is generally between $115,000 and $170,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
