Responsibilities

Commodity strategy development and supply base optimization according to strategy Implement strategies and actions to achieve year-over year cost savings and rebates Negotiate and sign contracts with strategic suppliers. Lead and manage project teams on various engagements: strategy, negotiation support, business planning, process improvement, etc. Support appropriate purchase-to-pay (PTP) process Leverage volumes and common supplier sourcing Improve working capital by negotiating optimum payment terms Responsible for preparing & managing European RFQ and RFP Analyzing and negotiating supplier quotes, making sourcing recommendations Issuing FrameAgreements and Service Level Agreements (SLA) Resolving supplier performance and commercial issues Develop in-depth understanding of supplier cost drivers, and total cost of procurement Secure, accurate and timely reporting of monthly KPI Ability to build trust and lasting relationships with key stakeholders  Effective communicator with strongpersuasion skills Measuring and evaluating supplier performance according to agreed KPI & SLA

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (masters preferred) An equivalent combination of experience and training may be considered Minimum 3-5 years of Purchasing experience (Indirect Services), Sales or Account Management  Proven track record of supplier negotiations Proficient with general office computer applications such as MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint.  Languages: fluent in English is a must Some travelling throughout Europe (plants, supplier visits) Strongteam player & independent negotiator Result orientated working – ability to set goalswith company objectives Analytical skills to solve daily issues and make smart decisions Strong data analysis skills to evaluate supplier offers and present results Worked in an international environment with exposure to different cultures
