Job Description:
This is a hands-on role where you will be actively involved in day-to-day tasks and providing suggestions for procurement strategies. The Senior Buyer will play a pivotal role in optimizing and managing our domestic and international procurement functions, maintaining inventory levels, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and seamless coordination from procurement to delivery. A successful candidate will be a hands-on, cultivate collaborative partnerships, and drive strategic thinking, all with a consistent eye towards defining, measuring, and achieving the targeted results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Buyer will analyze market trends, anticipate raw material & samples demand, monitor supply chain risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address disruptions to minimize impact on warehouse, transportation, and manufacturing/samples operations.
Perform daily purchasing tasks such as maintaining stock levels, creating & managing purchase requisitions, distributing purchase orders, PO close/matching process, coordinating with suppliers, and global tariff impacts.
Identify opportunities to improve inventory efficiency by monitoring and analyzing SKU and aggregate level inventory data.
Responsible for maintaining Procurement department master data integrity. Troubleshoot and triage production issues with other teams as needed when incidents are reported.
Collaborate with departments to assist in the development of commodity strategies, which align procurement, quality, manufacturing, logistics, and marketing objectives.
Be an escalation point for other procurement buyers and provide guidance on advanced procurement practices.
Looking to develop subject matter expert (SME) in Oracle Procurement
Leverage data to drive cost savings projects and lead improvement projects in metrics-driven environment to achieve TCO & KPI goals.
Drive the development and implementation of a system, which measure, track, and analyze supplier effectiveness; including supplier delivery performance, capacity, risks, costs, terms, etc.
Deeply understands the Cambria business model, routes to market, and key user, customer and partner segments.
Qualifications & Skills:
Solid understanding of processes and procedures related to all main activities of Procurement (sourcing, negotiation, purchasing, supplier relationship management, payment terms, etc.)
Ability to influence and effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
Highly motivated towards solving business needs and improving processes
Ability to manage time and work on multiple priorities simultaneously with high sense of urgency
Strong computer skills using Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience using ERP, Oracle and Oracle APEX Preferred
Minimum Requirements:
● Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, or a related industry
required, Master’s preferred. Or equivalent experience.
● Experience: 5+ years of purchasing or inventory management experience
● Systems: Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Salesforce/CRM and Oracle
preferred
Managerial Responsibilities: None, experience leading/mentoring a development team preferred.
Travel Requirements: Limited travel, will be required to travel between Cambria
locations
Physical Requirements: Office position requiring telephone and computer use

Cambria’s starting salary range for this position is $84,189 - $122,115. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
