In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Implement purchasing for critical/difficult/complicated raw materials as per related procedure.  Collaborate demand and forecast of multiple plants to balance supply and demand. Analysis forecast based on EM and bill of material with deep understanding of products to optimize forecasting methods. Follow, maintain and optimize the purchase process. Review and negotiate costs/contracts/lead-time/payment terms with suppliers, implement quotation comparison. With full understanding of MRP logic, work together with MPS/ planner to pull in/push out of delivery of purchase orders, monitor and avoid out stock and over inventory. Work with master production schedule from each plant to make material forecast, communicate the forecast with supplier and monitor supplier stock to support plant demand. Advise the planner or production floor regarding the details of part shortages as per MRP system and part arrival as per actual supplier promise date. Work with supplier quality engineer, warehouse to manage RTV goods, coordinate the replacement of goods, rework and debit note with supplier. Work with customs declarer to follow up the inbound logistics, importing compliance, make sure supplier meet requirement especially in oversea suppliers. Discuss defective goods or services with supplier and take appropriate corrective action. Who You Are:

You handle the risk that comes with moving forward when the outcome is not certain.   For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical areas.  Experiences on supply chain management, APICS-CPIM is preferred. Good Negotiation skills.  Good sense to balance payment terms, price, delivery lead time etc. Familiar with MRP logic, materials planning, inventory management and purchase process. Able to communicate successfully in English in both written and oral form. Minimum 3 years’ experience as a ‘buyer’ in purchasing related roles. Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: APICS-CPIM is preferred. Familiar with Microsoft office tools.
