We’ve got what you’re looking for. **Job Description:** Our Parsons Seattle office is now hiring for a **Senior CAD Designer/Drafter** to join our team! In this role you will get to **work with a team of engineers and other drafters using MicroStation and/or AutoCAD to create engineering drawings supporting transportation infrastructure projects in Washington State and beyond. Hybrid remote work allowed (meaning, working from home 0-5 days per week) . This role supports civil road, rail and highway, and structural bridge or tunnel projects.** **What You'll Be Doing:** + Work with a team of engineers and other drafters to create drawing packages for transportation construction projects + Design drafting for roadway and/or bridge projects for WSDOT, Sound Transit and other clients + Use drafting and design software from the Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley Open Roads Designer or Microstation suites, depending on client requirements. + Check your work to adherence to client CAD standards and engineers’ markups + Utilize ProjectWise or Autodesk Construction Cloud file management system as directed + Support projects for Sound Transit, WSDOT and other clients + Possibly some bridge structural projects support as wel **What Required Skills You'll Bring:** + 2-year technical degree or other related certification of completion from an accredited designer/drafter course (or equivalent) is preferred, and typically 4+ years of related experience. + Experience supporting transportation infrastructure, inclusive of road and highway projects is essential + Proficiency with either Microstation and/or Autocad Civil 3D software **What Desired Skills You'll Bring:** + Willingness to work in a team environment and to learn from more experienced peers + Positive attitude **Minimum Clearance Required to Start:** Not Applicable/None This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.
