Job Description:

Our Parsons Seattle office is now hiring for a  Senior CAD Designer/Drafter to join our team! In this role you will get to work with a team of engineers and other drafters using MicroStation and/or AutoCAD to create engineering drawings supporting transportation infrastructure projects in Washington State  and beyond. Hybrid remote work allowed (meaning, working from home 0-5 days per week) . This role supports civil road, rail and highway, and structural bridge or tunnel projects.

What You'll Be Doing:

Work with a team of engineers and other drafters to create drawing packages for transportation construction projectsDesign drafting for roadway and/or bridge projects for WSDOT, Sound Transit and other clientsUse drafting and design software from the Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley Open Roads Designer or Microstation suites, depending on client requirements.Check your work to adherence to client CAD standards and engineers’ markupsUtilize ProjectWise or Autodesk Construction Cloud file management system as directedSupport projects for Sound Transit, WSDOT and other clientsPossibly some bridge structural projects support as wel

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

2-year technical degree or other related certification of completion from an accredited designer/drafter course (or equivalent) is preferred, and typically 4+ years of related experience.Experience supporting transportation infrastructure, inclusive of road and highway projects is essentialProficiency with either Microstation and/or Autocad Civil 3D software

Salary Range: 

$25.34 - $44.33
