Senior Occupancy Planner 

\n

Key Functions

\n\n Provides space planning, data mining, reporting, and interpretation of space planning metrics for global portfolio.\n Responsible for building space design, construction, and moving services for corporate offices globally.\n\n

Job Description

\n\n Review space requirements, prepare conceptual plans and make recommendations to the real estate team, business, and vendors\n Build block or stack plans, charters, and move lists.\n Evaluate re-stack potential of existing assets with focus on unlocking hidden vacancy\n Produce complex drawings and presentations for internal partners and client-facing steering committee meetings for review and feedback. Involve project management staff as appropriate for move and construction services.\n Collaborate with other team members to gain business intelligence including move and relocation sequencing and execution\n Conduct evaluation and review of work area affected by move planning to ensure that current location(s) and office availability at destination location(s) is reflected accurately.\n Manage space walks for validation and update of occupancy metrics.\n Responsible for reviewing and maintaining occupancy data within the system of record.\n Prepare forecasts and evaluate space planning trends in general business conditions.\n Conduct interviews and discussions with business partners to gather, coordinate and synthesize project requirements, and functional, operational, and cultural issues.\n Liaise with Change Management teams as needed.\n Make recommendations and implement necessary space planning code changes and/or requirements and updates.\n Facilitate post-occupancy support and reviews to ensure deliverables were implemented and client’s expectations were met.\n Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems\n Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.\n\n

Requirements

\n\n Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Certification in Corporate Real Estate, LEED or Facilities Management preferred\n Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with emphasis on Excel spreadsheet skills including pivot tables \n Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mentality.\n Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.\n\n

Tasks

\n\n Analyze the utilization of the facility and ability to restack.\n Potential to move client “A” that only requires 50 seats that is allocated 100 seats.\n Potential to move a wall to reduce client “A”’s allocation.\n Understanding of the client contracts; scaling up and down and renewal/termination.\n Creates “bench” for CRM role particularly in the Commercial space\n Training Room Utilization.\n\n
