Under the direction of the Supervisor/Manager and/or Director, the Sr. Call Center Representative is responsible for answering and logging incoming calls into IDX from providers, members and health plans regarding claims status, eligibility, and authorization issues and request adjustments when appropriate. In addition, this position will assist in orientation/training of current and new employees.

Required qualifications:
1 year of experience as a Claims Examiner in an IPA, Medical Group or Health Plan. 2 years of experience in a medical/institutional claims customer services unit within a health plan, medical group or IPA setting. Experience with computerized claims processing/transaction system and medical coding (CPT, ICD9 and HCPCS).Preferred qualifications:
