Senior capacity strategy analyst
Introduction to the job

The sector Planning and Delivery (P&D) combines all planning activities across ASML, bringing demand and supply perspectives closer together. Given the expected growth in the semiconductor market and the volatility in the growth path, the quality of planning for ASML and its supply chain becomes more and more important.

Within P&D, the strategic capacity preparation team is set up to:

Give a deep understanding of the long-term bottlenecks in the supply chain (3 – 10 years)Provide transparency on risk-reward trade-offs and drive capacity investment decisionsSet clear capacity requirements for the sectors and work with them to devise solution scenariosFacilitate the Capability Meeting, which brings together product development and operations


 

Role and responsibilities

We are looking for an expert who drives and creates high quality insights to support decision-making as part of capacity investigations in our supply chain and factories. You perform in-depth analyses to estimate long-term demand, considering uncertainties in the demand drivers. You will help improve capacity decision-making by applying ASML’s Decision Quality methodology.

Job Description

Develop an in-depth understanding of the demand drivers and the related uncertainties. Derive and implement suitable models to estimate long-term demand, ensuring the right content is available in time for supply chain investigation.Prepare and present high quality quantitative analyses and qualitative insights for capacity investigations at our supply chain and factories.Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders in the strategic planning processesDrive the initial development and continuous improvement of models and tools to increase scalability by standardizing processes related to Strategic Capacity Preparation


 

Education and experienceMaster's degree of quantitative study preferably with an affinity with statistics or economics.>5 years of experience in communicating results to senior management and facilitating key decisions with decision support tools in operations, supply chain management  or product portfolio management5-10 years of experience in modeling of complex business issues and reflecting impact of uncertainties

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
