Job Description
Assist the Manager and Director in preparing the annual capital budget, including gathering and entering relevant data, attending capital budget meetings, overseeing system rollover and maintenance, and preparing reports. Maintain tables, reports, and utilities in the Axiom system related to capital planning and tracking. Provide written and verbal instructions and support to department leaders on capital planning and tracking processes and procedures. Collaborate effectively with Decision Support and Finance Division staff where capital planning and tracking intersect with other functions such as purchasing, accounts payable, and asset register maintenance. Actively seek, propose, and implement improvements and efficiencies in capital planning and tracking processes.
ResponsibilitiesAssist in preparing the annual capital budget, including gathering and entering relevant data.Attend capital budget meetings and oversee system rollover and maintenance.Prepare and maintain tables, reports, and utilities in the Axiom system related to capital planning and tracking.Provide written and verbal instructions and support to department leaders on capital planning and tracking processes.Collaborate with Decision Support and Finance Division staff where capital planning intersects with other functions.Propose and implement improvements and efficiencies in capital planning and tracking processes.Essential Skills4-7 years working within Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in unrelated field with 5 years of related work experience.Experience working in healthcare.Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel.Experience with Axiom capital tracking and capital planning software preferred.Capital experience is preferred.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with accounting software.Strong analytical skills.Experience in financial analysis and financial reporting.Knowledge of capital spending and capital tracking.Experience with PeopleSoft.Work Environment
Work from home. Must have a good Wifi connection and set up. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $47.00
