EDUCATION:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
RN-Registered Nurse of California
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
2 years of recent relevant experience.
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE:
Affiliate: Sutter Senior Care, Department: Pediatrics, 2 years experience of which 1 year is in Pediatrics is required for CCS Paneling.
Affiliate: Sutter Senior Care, Department: Trauma, 2 years emergency or critical-care experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Must have demonstrated knowledge of basic nursing skills and effective English written and communication skills.
Knowledge of population-specific learning principles relative to patient teaching.
For Trauma: In-depth knowledge of nursing process in assessment of physical and psychosocial needs of trauma patients through understanding of the pathophysiology of multi-system traumatic injuries, associated nursing diagnoses, and appropriate treatment modalities.
Independently practices and prioritize multiple demands in a ever-changing environment.
Good interpersonal, communication (both oral and written) and teamwork skills is required.

Pay Range is $60.45 to $79.17 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
