We are seeking a talented individual to join our Catastrophe Risk Services team at Guy Carpenter. This role will be based in Hong Kong.

We will count on you to:

Organize and clean raw data from client for catastrophe risk analysisPerform catastrophe risk analysis with vendor/ internal catastrophe risk models and deliver modeling results to client and internal relevant teamsHelp maintain internal exposure and loss databasesConduct research of industry/ academic publications to provide additional sources/views for catastrophe risk analysis and client reportsMaintain and update relevant modelling tools for efficiencyDeliver more complex and tailor-made modelling solution to clients which is in-line with requirements and considering macro environment

What you need to have: 

3 to 5 years of prior experience in risk from the insurance/reinsurance sector is preferred.Master’s degree or equivalent, ideally in Geography, Actuarial Science, Risk Management, Statistics, Computer Science or related discipline.Desire to learn and further develop in the broader risk management field.Strong analytical and data skills with the ability to multitask and balance priorities.Outstanding computer and technical skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SQL, R or VBAStrong communication and presentation skills, independent and diligent.Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese.
