Job Description:
What are we looking for?You will be fully responsible for all external category responsibilities and customers, will be expected to work in close collaboration with the Mars Wrigley Category team to align customer plans with local and regional category initiatives.You will lead the collaboration with internal stakeholders and external customers to create and deliver effective long term strategic category plans which meet customer and shopper needs.Proven category development experience ideally in an FMCG or consumer goods environment.This role requires excellent commercial, influencing and leadership skills.To keep our vibrant culture thriving we attend our bustling Central London office (Farringdon) on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
What will be your key responsibilities?
To deliver the shift required to realize the next phase of KIND UK’s growth aspirations, responsibilities include:
Lead the Snacking category growth vision for KIND, and inspire internal and external customers to make the change through Perfect Store.Create short- and long-term category strategies for customer, aligned to the customer prioritisation model and category vision, ensuring a strong understanding of the category growth drivers.Be the voice of the customer and the category in bringing category insights through for customer-led innovation, price & promo changes, and range portfolio development. Be the lead voice with customers and in our S&OP+ internal process.Category Growth – Provide insights through to action to maintain/improve/drive the customer’s outperformance in healthy snacks vs. competitive set.Build strong and influential relationships with external and internal stakeholders, focused on delivering shopper, channel and category centric solutions so that KIND is viewed as “THE” trusted category expert.Use a mix of market, shopper and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and leverage/ execute these with high standards in all Category Leadership initiatives, tactics, practices. Engage cross-functional resources to deliver the growth opportunities.Develop, maintain and track our Perfect Store strategy and key initiatives.Lead category upskilling of the KIND Team and be the Line Manager of the KIND Category Manager.
