What You'll Be Doing
Provide contract and procurement support with a focus on commodity management.
Develop, negotiate, and manage supplier agreements to meet operational needs.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Lead process improvement initiatives in sourcing, contracting, and category management.
Support supplier performance programs focused on quality, service, and standardization.
Actively engage in procurement processes with a hands-on, collaborative approach.
Align procurement practices with internal customer needs and deliver training as needed.
Apply competitive bidding practices and advise on negotiation strategies.
Contribute to procurement policy development and participate in cross-functional teams.
What Are We Looking For
University or College degree in technical, economic, financial, or business field.
Supply Chain Management Professional Accreditation (preferred).
Minimum three (3) years of work experience in procurement and contract management in a manufacturing/production and/or construction environment.
Experience and/or interest in electronic bidding/e-auctions and E-procurement.
Strong negotiation skills.
Excellent oral and written skills and the ability to build relationships and work effectively at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple independent projects as assigned.
Proficient in SAP -ECC 6.0 MM module (source of supply, purchasing info records, MRP, purchase orders, contracts, etc.), Ariba and MS Office applications.
