We are seeking to fill a full-time, permanent position in the EMEA region, based in either Prague, Czech Republic, or Budapest, Hungary.

Job Purpose:

Contribute to the development, execution, and management of procurement strategies and processes to secure the best value for goods and services while prioritizing risk management and security. This includes sourcing products and services, selecting suppliers, negotiating pricing and terms, managing orders and contracts, and fostering strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, efficiency, and business partner satisfaction.

Your tasks:

Conduct active supplier management in collaboration across all levels of Procurement sourcing and category management organization (global/regional/local) with a focus on (cyber) security, risk and resilience Collaborate in sourcing of goods and services in order to reduce risks and costs and ensure quality of supply at DHL Group preferred conditions in areas such as e.g. IT Software, IT Hardware, IT Consulting, Telecommunications, and Financial Services. Support to develop, execute, and administer procurement business processes and plans to achieve greatest value contribution, benefit realization and efficiency and ensuring business partner satisfaction Collaborate in sourcing of goods and services in order to reduce risks and costs and ensure quality and supply at DHL Group preferred conditions in areas such as e.g. IT Software, IT Hardware, IT Consulting, Telecommunications, and Financial Services. Develop processes and analyses to enable proactive improvements of DHL Group position with suppliers Track sourcing opportunities, develop tactics and approaches to obtain products & services based on existing category strategies Execute various procurement processes including: products & service sourcing, supplier selection, pricing/terms negotiation, order processing, contract administration, supplier performance management, and strategic sourcing

Your profile:

Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Procurement or a similar role. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Fluency in English (written and spoken) and proficiency in Hungarian or Czech is preferred. Familiarity with procurement technologies, risk management, and strategic sourcing methodologies is an advantage.
