Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Day to Day Responsibilities: Maintain and trouble shoot online to meet the manufacturing performance target. Demonstrate fundamental knowledge and provide equipment control logic and flow in normal production operation. Take the lead role in team to achieve performance improvement target goal. Dedicated resources to initiate and deploy the projects to improve the line capability. Participate in projects, include new technology migration. Work relates to hardware and software specification, design, fabrication, installation, and testing. Develop data analysis and control according to requirements(Python/MySQL). Advanced PLC, HMI, Robot, integration, and automation per project need. Schedule, budget, quality and supervision during installation, debug, and start up. Work with equipment vendor and plant receiver on deliverables of the project. Keep good communication, coordination, and follow-up ability. Manage design changes, and prepare procedure document as for SOP/SOS Establish control system improvement Weekend and shift coverage is requirement as needed. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree above, major in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Physical Engineering or other engineering related. At least 3 years of work experience in automation.
  Required Skills Familiar with Mitsubishi PLC, HMI，SERVO system application. Familiar with auto control system design. Familiar with electrical control component application, such like Inverter, Servo Motor, Sensor, signal translator, etc. Experience in Robot Application (Fanuc robot) Understand the process of designing using python/C#/MySQL... Skill in basic data analysis and image recognition with Python. Problem solving skill on troubleshooting  Skill in software of Windows Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power point, etc.
  Desired Skills Skill in Auto CAD  Project management skill Process concept understanding. English proficiency: CET-6. Safety Awareness
