Job Summary
Global Payments is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Channel Marketing Manager to join our Channel Marketing, Americas team. Reporting to the Head of Channel Marketing, Americas, this role will lead the development and execution of strategies to drive Financial Institution (FI) partner and merchant acquisition.
Collaborating across departments, you will plan and execute fully integrated, omni-channel campaigns to accelerate FI partner growth in North America. This role involves analyzing marketing campaign performance, optimizing strategies, and ultimately positioning Global Payments as a leader within the FI partner channel.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Strategy & Execution
Responsible for the development of comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business production goals, sales cycles and value propositions, focusing on acquisition and enablement.
Educate team members working within the FI channel on new strategies. Oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns to accelerate growth and deliver qualified prospective partner opportunities for the FI business development team and merchant opportunities for FI inbound and outbound sales teams.
Direct asset and content creation, leveraging omnichannel and Account Based Marketing (ABM) approaches for maximum impact.
Create promotion strategies for partner and merchant acquisition events, trade shows, and webinars.
Collaborate with the digital marketing teams to identify campaign optimization opportunities, and ensure campaign tagging, testing, and deployment are executed accurately.
Collaboration, Communication & Continued Learning
Partner cross-functionally with Business Development, Sales, and Relationship Management teams to understand sales strategies, value propositions, prospect interests, and obstacles for use in creating impactful campaign strategies.
Build strong partnerships within our internal marketing team, including product, program, and content marketing to receive and share key learnings, resulting in the production of meaningful and compelling campaign content.
Serve as a marketing consultant and advocate for business support units, aligning campaigns with strategic growth objectives.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to evolve the FI channel marketing strategies.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
Partner with marketing performance and analytics teams to develop and own overall channel revenue goals, forecasting models and key metrics reporting for the FI merchant and partner acquisition.
Track and report on campaign level ROI and other key performance metrics.
Provide actionable insights based on data analysis to recommend optimal marketing mixes, drive continuous improvement and enhance future programs.
QualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
5+ years of experience in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive leads and revenue in the payments industry, financial technology, or B2B SaaS industry.
Expertise in campaign performance analytics and the use of marketing automation tools such as Marketo or Gong.
Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting actionable insights to stakeholders.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into insights.
Self-motivated and disciplined with strong time management skills.
Passion for working at the intersection of technology and marketing to deliver innovative programs.
Preferred QualificationsMBA or other graduate degree/certification in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
2+ years of experience marketing to Financial Institution partners.
Experience with ABM tools (Demandbase)
Travel Requirement
Willingness to travel 15-20%.
