Your Role in the Kitchen

Lead designated kitchen sections with confidence, ensuring food quality, consistency, and presentation meet Alila standards.
Support Junior Sous Chef and Sous Chef in supervising kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and service readiness.Guide and mentor Chef de Partie, Demi Chefs, and Commis, providing coaching and on-the-job training.Manage inventory for assigned stations, ensuring correct stock rotation and minimizing wastage.Monitor and maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and operational condition of kitchen equipment and work areas.Assist in food cost control measures by ensuring portioning and minimizing spoilage.Be proactive in addressing any issues in discipline, cleanliness, or kitchen operation, escalating where necessary.Step in to support broader kitchen leadership during service peak periods and in the absence of senior chefs.Collaborate with the team on new dish development, menu changes, and seasonal promotions.
