If you’d like to embrace a wider world of experiences and opportunities, we’d like to welcome you to join the team as **Senior Chef de Partie** and let us help you create a career journey like no other. **As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:** + Oversee daily operations of your assigned kitchen section (e.g., grill, cold kitchen, pastry, etc.). + Assist the **Sous Chef** & Junior Sous Chef in overseeing the culinary operations of **All-Day Dining** , **Room Service** , **Deli** , and **Pool Bar** outlets. + Supervise the preparation and service of **Mediterranean and European cuisine** , tailored for each outlet’s style and guest expectations. + Ensure all food preparation meets established quality, portion, and presentation standards. + Support the Sous Chef & Junior Sous Chef in menu execution, mise en place planning, and daily briefings. + Train, supervise, and mentor Commis Chefs and Demi Chefs de Partie. + Monitor and enforce compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (HACCP). + Collaborate on inventory control, food cost management, and waste reduction. + Maintain cleanliness, equipment care, and organizational standards in your station. + Assist in developing new dishes, seasonal specials, and special event menus. + Communicate effectively with the broader culinary and service teams to ensure smooth kitchen operation. + Act as a shift leader in the absence of the Sous Chef & Junioe Sous Chef. **Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:** + Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or related field. + Food Safety Certification (e.g., ServSafe, HACCP) is preferred. + Minimum 3–5 years of culinary experience in a hotel, resort, or upscale restaurant environment. + At least 1–2 years in a Chef de Partie or similar supervisory role. + Exposure to international cuisines or multi-outlet kitchen operations is a plus. + Strong cooking techniques and knowledge across various sections (hot, cold, pastry, etc.). + Excellent organizational and time-management skills. + Ability to manage pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen. + Leadership qualities with a focus on mentoring junior team members. + Knowledge of food costing, stock rotation, and kitchen administration. + Attention to detail and commitment to consistency. + Team player with a proactive and positive attitude. + High standards of personal hygiene and professional presentation. + Passion for culinary innovation and guest satisfaction. + Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
