What you’ll do
A day in the life of our Senior Chef is incredibly diverse, and you can expect it will involve some of the following responsibilities:
Maintain a proactive approach to safety Engage in the implementation of Food Safety and HACCP program within Wyvern and Spotless. Implement and manage the business production within budget, while maintaining a high level of product quality and safety. Sustain relationships with key suppliers and Wyvern Private Hospital staff. Available Monday - Friday. 12pm-8pm (Lunch/Dinner Shift)What you’ll bring
3 years minimum of previous experience within a professional commercial kitchen in, such as: functions and events, 5-star hotel, a la carte restaurant, education, health and/or aged care - within HACCP certified environment is preferred. Classic and modern food processing technique, bulk cooking and/or a la carte Current Food Handlers Certificate or NSW Food Safety Supervisor Certificate Certificate III – Commercial Cookery or equivalentMore than anything, you’ll have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a drive to provide high quality outcomes for the business and our customers.
