Element has an opportunity for a Senior Chemist who will be primarily responsible to handling CP-MS, ICP-OES, Spark OES, CS and NitroIgen Analyzers.
This position will be based in Dammam, KSA
Responsibilities Develops analytical methods and performs testing using a variety of technologies includingCP-MS, ICP-OES, Spark OES, CS and NitroIgen Analyzers. Is a proficient user in spectroscopyExecutes complex, multifaceted analytical projects in support of client needsFollows all safety requirements including wearing appropriate personal protective equipmentGenerates client data and supporting laboratory documentation in compliance with company SOPs and Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) regulationsComplies with all company SOPs. Initiates SOP change when warrantedTakes responsibility for lab instruments and sees to their care and upkeepImplements new equipment, processes and methods independently, capable of conducting appropriate Skills / Qualifications Capable of working independently under minimal supervisionDemonstrates expertise in the analysis of data, from the qualitative to the rigorously statistical, strong problem-solving and analytical abilitiesIs a qualified peer reviewerHandling and closure of NCRs and implementation of corrective and preventive measuresPerforms other related duties as assigned
