As we continue to develop our activities, we are delighted to offer a unique opportunity to join our organization as a Senior Chemist for Acme Laboratories. The position is located in Ankara, Türkiye:

 

To act in accordance with occupational safety rules during work, To perform the tests it is authorized to perform according to international standards, special customer methods, special cases specified in the procedures and updated information, Periodically apply QC parameters within the framework of the Quality Control Procedure depending on the test method, To ensure that the preparations for chemical pretreatment of the experiments to be carried out are completed, to perform / ensure that all instrument readings are performed in accordance with the flow of the operation, To monitor and supervise the relevant personnel during the reading of the samples and to intervene if there is a problem, Making notes in the log book of the relevant device before each use and ensuring all relevant control, To ensure that the consumables consumed are recorded in the relevant stock forms and to follow up the monthly stock, To ensure that the test equipment for which he / she is responsible is periodically maintained and cleaned, to inform the laboratory manager in case of malfunctions and to inform the electrician when necessary, Keeping notes about the upcoming calibration date of the test equipment, ensuring that calibrations are performed and followed up when calibration times come, ensuring that the calibration is not worked with the past calibration device, To ensure that the laboratory work area is kept clean, To follow the orientation and adaptation process of newly recruited personnel and to coach them, To make the work planning of the laboratory in order not to disrupt the general operation of the laboratory, to make overtime plans when necessary, Reporting to their manager based on the schedule and any employee issues to meet operational goals and maintain quality of work, To perform all tests that he/she is competent to perform in the absence of his/her teammates and to support other tasks, To plan lab operation and to track the operation carefully according to priorities and client demands.

 

 

Requirements:

 

Graduated from Chemistry or Chemical Engineering departments of universities, At least 5 years of experience in ICP, AAS and XRF analysis, Knowledge of general laboratory equipment, Experienced in analytical experiments, able to make stoichiometric calculations, Preferably English speaking.
