We are seeking a full-time Senior Civil Engineer / Senior Project Manager to join our team to provide senior-level input, work and mentor with junior staff, prepare plans and permitting documentation, review and approval of engineering documents and other engineering tasks. This position will specifically manage the Florida regional workload but will have significant opportunities to work thought the southeast and other regions as necessary. Specific work schedule will be coordinated with employee’s supervisor.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide senior-level review of work products for civil engineering projects. Support business development by solicitation of work from past, present and future clients within the region and providing early input / senior-level review for proposals. Perform monthly billing, client management and budgets. Prepare site civil plans, reports and documentation to design and permit projects. Work and mentor junior staff. Perform site visits and perform consulting tasks within the region (Includes some travel up to 25%)
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum four-year (accredited) college degree in Engineering, or other related technical discipline 10-15+ years of relevant experience Licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida with multi-state licensure a plus Demonstrates leadership and the embodiment of the core values of Verdantas The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail Ability to travel as necessary to perform client tasks.
