As part of our team, you will work on projects related to the planning and analysis of municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater distribution, collection, and conveyance systems, including but not limited to master plans, capital improvement program development, regional water quality and water supply studies, critical water reuse planning, and wet weather management projects that will create sustainable and resilient water supplies for the world.

Responsibilities Performs engineering work in design, rehabilitation, and/or construction of water and wastewater infrastructurePerforms engineering work in the condition assessment of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructureWorks on engineering studies, master plans, asset management programs, designs, prepare reports, develop plans, and cost estimates for various water, wastewater, reuse, and stormwater infrastructure projects, permitting and alternative analysisPrepares technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables; data entry and analysis, and working through the construction phase on the projectsPlans, schedules, and conducts engineering work on projects of medium to large sizes of moderately complex natureResponsible for budget, schedule, contractual obligations and quality standardsCollaborate with several other supervisors or team leadersResponsible for training and monitoring internal staffResponsible for acting independently and making authoritative decisions on technical mattersDevelops significant relationships with new and existing clients and has responsibility for client maintenanceSupports firm's relationships with client management personnelResponsible for identifying and directing sub consultants performing services on projectsTechnical collaborator in proposal preparation and overall business development pursuitsActive in professional associations, including presentation of technical papers, member of technical committee, officer of local or national organization Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering10 plus years of experience in the water industry with at least five years of project management experienceRegistration as a Professional EngineerDemonstrated experience in water, wastewater, and stormwater pipeline condition assessment, including tools and technologies for condition assessment. Demonstrated experience in water, wastewater, stormwater, and reuse master planning, modeling, and strategic system planningDemonstrated experience in the development of asset management plans, strategic master plans, capital improvement programs (CIPs) and other studies for small, medium, and large sized water, wastewater, stormwater, and/or reuse infrastructure projects with full responsibility for budget, schedule, contractual obligations and quality standardsExperience includes water, wastewater, stormwater, and/or reuse hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, risk assessment, risk model development, condition assessment, and facilities planning for treatment facilities, wastewater collection systems, water transmission/distribution projects, water reuse projects, pipeline rehabilitation projects, and pump stationsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to communicate effectively with clients and project team Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental EngineeringNASSCO PACP/MACP/LACP certificationExperience with various modeling packages (InfoWorks ICM, InfoWater, WaterGems, SewerGems, PCSWMM, USEPA SWMM, EPANET, Aquanuity, etc.)Experience with asset management programs (InfoAsset Planner, Info360, Aquanuity, etc.)Design and construction phase experience Other Compensation and Benefits
