Maxwell-Reddick and Associates, a Pape-Dawson Company, is seeking a full-time Senior Civil Project Engineer based in our Alpharetta, GA office. This position will lead a project design team – and work closely with the Senior Project Manager regarding client communication, permitting, and management on a wide range of residential and commercial development projects. The Senior Civil Project Engineer will collaborate in-house with other civil engineers, landscape architects, and land surveyors to assist our clients in developing public, private, and mixed-use projects. Responsibilities

 

Assist Senior Project Manager or Vice President in the production of project plans, specifications, and cost estimatesDevelop feasible design alternatives and compare significant parameters such as typical sections, horizontal and vertical alignments, right-of-way requirements and costIdentify and analyze the principal design features and major design alternatives that satisfy the project’s purpose and needUse computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documentsPrepare written technical reports and engineering studies using approved company formatDirect production work of engineering techniciansParticipate in the development of company design and production standardsAdditional related duties as needed

 

Qualifications PE license in Georgia, or ability to achieve by reciprocityBachelor of Science in Civil Engineering6-10+ years of experience in site design, planning, and project managementStrong communication skillsSelf-motivated, team-oriented individualAutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency
