A day in the life.

As our Senior Client Advocate on the Employee Health & Benefits team, you’ll actively manages a book of business to ensure each client’s benefit plan needs and goals are met. This involves managing annual benefit enrollment periods and overseeing the transfer of coverage to new vendors, providing first-rate benefit plan communications to clients, resolving day-to-day service issues and concerns, maintaining accurate and up-to-date benefit plan documents, and counseling clients on a wide range of regulatory issues affecting benefit plans. You’ll work with significant autonomy to support your clients. As such, others in the department may approach you for assistance and guidance on various matters. Seniors Client Advocates may also help train newer Client Advocates, conduct formal training, create new products, or similar functions.

We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with benefit plans, working in HR, for an insurer/administrator or a brokerExtensive knowledge of group insurance (medical, dental, vision, life and disability products)Effective public speaking skills, excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to use available resources to research regulatory issues and provide clear, concise and accurate information and guidance to clientsAbility to work under pressure and multi-taskAbility to work independently and be detailed, organized and resourceful, motivating others inside and outside of the firm to accomplish goalsExperience in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Publisher

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or health services administration or equivalentLife & Health License (required within 90 days)
