The Role
Bring new business opportunities for new clients and develops business opportunities with existing clients in Natural Resources sector. Understand the clients’ business and their risk management needs and look for solutions to deliver those needs through the provision of ongoing service. Provide technical, industry and subject matter expertise where required. Liaise with clients and build strong relationships. Determine appropriate solutions, structure, price and placement strategies that meet the clients’ needs and deliver profitable business for a range of clients. Identify primary budget holders and decision makers within clients, establish and maintain active relationships with these people. Work alongside (and provide direction as appropriate) to the Natural Resources Account Handlers Other tasks assigned by Line Manager and the CompanyThe Requirements
• University degree or higher is a must
• At least 10 years of relevant experience, ideally with a top-tier strategy consulting firm (or similar organization)
• Natural Resources Insurance experience is a plus
• Strong relationships in the Natural Resources Downstream market locally and oversea
• Valuable relationships and experiences in the reference sectors (Renewable Energies, Environmental Technologies, Utilities, O&G, …)
• Natural problem-solving mindset
• Strong background in strategic problem solving with demonstrable analytical skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both formal and informal settings
• Ability to work collaboratively in an international team environment
• Willingness to travel
• Fluency in English
