Job DescriptionAdvances clinical practice in the unit and beyond through translation of evidence into practice.Serves as clinical expert and professional resource for the nurses beyond the unit level; mentors and coaches other nurses to advance in their development.Provides nursing leadership in the development and implementation of patient population/organizational level evidence based protocols/procedures.Develops CNI, CNII, and SCNIs to effectively function in unit based roles.Advances excellence in collaboration with interdisciplinary team to plan and coordinate care on the patient’s continuum; models independent advocacy for patient/family needs.Enhances practice consistent with division/organizational operations to ensure safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient centered care.Company Description

QualificationsLicensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland, or eligible to practice due to Compact state agreements outlined through the MD Board of Nursing, is required.BSN with specialty certification or Master Degree in a health related field required.Current AHA BLS certification required.Must meet all unit specific certification requirements (ACLS, PAL, NRP)Recent applicable clinical experience in a comparable setting.Additional Information
