UST is seeking a Senior Cloud Application Engineer with AWS experience to join our team in Bristol.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain Linux or Windows systems. Manage and optimize AWS services including EC2, VPC, AWS CloudWatch, Storage, and Security Groups. Install, configure, and manage IIS and Tomcat servers. Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and management tasks. Administer SharePoint environments, ensuring optimal performance and availability. Manage and configure Presconnect and Kofax solutions. Handle data integration and ETL processes using Informatica. Implement and manage monitoring tools such as Datadog, PSView, and Nagios. Ensure system security, performance, and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues promptly. Collaborate with other IT team members to support various projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in Linux or Windows systems administration. Extensive knowledge of AWS services, particularly EC2, VPC, AWS CloudWatch, Storage, and Security Groups. Hands-on experience with IIS and Tomcat server management. Strong PowerShell scripting skills. Experience as a SharePoint Administrator. Familiarity with Presconnect and Kofax. Proficiency with Informatica for data integration tasks. Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog, PSView, and Nagios. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate) are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with hybrid cloud environments. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Knowledge of networking principles and security best practices.
