Senior Cloud EngineerWhat does a successful Senior Cloud Engineer do at Fiserv?
As a part of the Omnichannel Commerce team, you will be building and delivering the Commerce Hub platform to Fiserv merchants. Built to deliver innovation through simple, fast integrations, the Commerce Hub is the most powerful omnichannel platform. A true single-entry point and intelligent orchestration layer provides access to the latest, most popular commerce experiences through merchants' existing infrastructure. With developer-friendly, flexible communication standards, unified APIs, and pre-certified integrations the Commerce Hub reduces development time and accelerates speed to market.
What you will do:
Serve as key expert on AWS Cloud native development best practicesDemonstrate expertise with architecting, managing, deploying and operating production infrastructure within a cloud-like environment using AWS ECS and Pivotal Cloud FoundryOwn infrastructure in production, as well as designing and creating build/deploy and monitoring systemsBe a scrum team member to deliver features and functionality for the Commerce Hub PlatformEngage with cross-functional co-located teams in design, development, and implementation of enterprise scalable features related to enabling higher developer productivity, environment monitoring, and self-healing, and facilitate autonomous delivery teamsDevelop developer efficiency tools, focusing on freeing up development staff to focus on deliverablesDevelop Spring Boot and/or Python or Node.js applicationsWhat you will need to have:
6+ years of cloud engineering experience, preferably AWS6+ years of hands-on experience programming in Java or Python5+ years of experience implementing automation using scripting languages (e.g., Python) to manage AWS services5+ years of experience with AWS ECS and other container management solutions3+ years of experience in developing cloud infrastructure as code as a Cloud DevOps engineer3+ years of experience with Cloud Development Kit, CloudFormation, and/or Terraform1+ years of experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, and/or any other monitoring tools/processesBachelor’s degree in computer science, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experienceWhat would be great to have:
