A Day in the Life:
The Senior Cloud Engineer is responsible for maintaining AWS environment to improve RTO and RPOs. The senior engineer will perform technical tasks, such as monitoring, responding to alerts, patching, vulnerability remediation, automating manual tasks, supporting mitigation activities, troubleshooting technical issues on AWS hosted instances. In addition, the engineer will be accountable keeping the systems up to date, tracking service metrics. To be a successful technical lead, you will demonstrate strong technical and teamworking skills. You will also demonstrate excellent communication and technical skills. You will guide and mentor developers and always communicate closely with the rest of the technology development teams, including keeping stakeholders informed of technical progress and risks.

Responsibilities:
Maintaining positive relationships with internal partners that includes application teams, information security and ITSM teams. Extensive working experience and knowledge on AWS Cloud Services like EC2, ELB, Auto Scaling, VPC, Route53, S3, IAM, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, Elastic search, Elastic File system (EFS), CloudWatch, Cloud Trail, etc. Excellent communication and collaboration skills Hands on experience with container services like Docker and Kubernetes Experience in shell scripts (bash, python, etc.) Experience in using Elasticsearch, CloudWatch, Dynatrace, Prometheus and Grafana for logging and monitoring.What We’re Looking For:

Experience in Agile development methodologies Detail-oriented, organized, and possess good writing and communication skills Strong analytical skills Ability to operate effectively, and with a sense of possibility, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
