As a Cloud FinOps Business Partner, you will help NICE global cloud business units to maximize every dollar spent on the cloud and help speed delivery of our solutions. You will promote the FinOps and governance principles which are a combination of systems, best practices, and culture designed to increase our company’s ability to understand cloud costs, generate cost optimization and leverage cloud operations and governance cross the organization.
We are looking for a Cloud FinOps tech and architecture business partner who will collaborate with DevOps and R&D teams, product managers, business operations, Finance, Legal, and IT to boost the company cloud efficiency, services modernization, cloud native architecture and design for optimization.
Main responsibilities
Join forces with NICE business units (tech and financial partners) to maximize cloud margin, enhance cloud governance and increase cloud business transparency to various levels in the organization. Work with our technical teams to design and implement new services in the most costefficient way (influence the roadmap of new features and services). Experience and scripting skills for cloud optimization automation. Create and capture cloud optimization and governance best practices, technical content and architectures (e.g. processes, white papers, standards, blog posts). Collaborate with cloud teams to choose the optimal performance-cost service types for system/application requirement. Create metrics, reports, & recommended optimization plans for financial excellence in the cloud. Explore, deploy and develop tools (internally and with our cloud partner) to enhance cloud business observability and proactive ("AI driven", "hands free", "automation") cost optimization. Professional:
Bachelor’s degree preferably engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science. 3+ years of experience working cross functionally in large global enterprise. Proven experience in overall AWS/Azure Cost Management and FinOps principles in large scale organizations. CloudOps experience and scripting skills for automation (e.g., Python, CloudFormation, Terraform). Understanding of AWS/Azure cloud platforms, consoles, services and well-architected framework. Familiarity with cloud solutions architecture. Understand technical issues and drive them to closure by bringing key stokeholds for decision-making. A technical background (DevOps experience) – an advantage. Working in a global company / large scale High-tech company. Advanced Office skills. Fluency in English.Personal:
