**Key** **Accountabilities:** • Provides reliable and scalable cloud platform (especially Containers/Kubernetes) expertise to engineers • Develops and tests automation code to specifications and standards (Manulife, SDLC, Agile, etc) • Builds and codes moderately complex software • Investigates new platform solutions to enhance service delivery experience • Resolves persistent platform issues when surfaced by technical support teams • Responsible for monitoring, analyzing and optimizing software architecture and maintaining software environment to best support testing and deployment in continuous integration/continuous delivery environment **Job Requirements:** • Technical expertise in public cloud (preferably Azure) infrastructure and platform technologies especially Containers/Kubernetes required * Technical expertise in provisioning and configuration automation tools *Familiarity with Agile and DevOps principles, test-driven development, continuous integration, and other approaches to accelerate the delivery of new features • Understanding of software development lifecycle and how technology can address and support business strategy • BS or equivalent required.
