Responsibilities

Migrate, develop, and support applications on Azure: Lead the migration of existing applications to Azure and develop new cloud-native applications.Refactor applications: Enhance existing applications to be more cloud-native and resilient, ensuring they meet quality attributes such as security, performance, scalability, resiliency, availability, and changeability.Develop and share patterns and standards: Create and disseminate patterns, standards, and guidance for adopting and implementing Azure technologies.Assist development and operations teams: Provide support and guidance to development and operations teams with infrastructure setup, NSG rules, firewall changes, access control, and other support tasks.Oversee the Azure environment: Ensure the Azure environment is secure, cost-optimized, and compliant with regulatory requirements.Cybersecurity and compliance: Implement and validate security mechanisms within Azure to ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulatory requirements.Cost optimization: Monitor and manage Azure expenses, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.Reporting and documentation: Deliver reporting to meet operational and regulatory requirements, including Azure configurations and costs, and maintain comprehensive documentation of system architectures, topologies, and deployments.

“At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $120,000- $150,000 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
